Saturday afternoon, August 2, a small group of Christians gathered together for the last time to honor the memory and the passing of a small church which blessed thousands. As it sometimes goes, our former church, New Hope Christian Community, did not die with a bang, but with a whimper. The remnant of New Hope, who last year tried in vein to continue the uniqueness of our fellowship and ministry, decided it would be good to have one final, official gathering to say goodbye and bring a formal close to this church and ministry.

I was surfing the net to see what was happening with the church and the ministries. We have a few folks over in the pittsburgh area with school and was thinking of directing them to you. all of you have been in my prayers over the year.
what is occuring with everyone connected ?
All the former members of New Hope are now scattered all over the city, country or world. The remnant from last year for the most part have continued in the ministries God had on their hearts, just in different churches or ministries in this area. Yours truly (New Hope's webservant) has continued doing the web thing for a few other Pittsburgh ministries including Steel City Church which is a new church plant meeting Sunday evenings at Connections Cafe.
