Angel Food for Oakland

Inspired by an Angel Food Ministry site she visited in New Brighton, Jo Ann Snow has put things in motion to start an Angel Food host site in Oakland at New Hope.
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food works through churches and community organizations in over 32 states.
Through Angel Food, host sites provide approximately $50 worth of groceries for $25. And, as Jo Ann likes to say, "if you eat, you qualify." Jo Ann hopes to have an Angel Food site established in Oakland by September.

If you would like to help Jo Ann with this ministry or sign up for food before we get a site in Oakland, please click here to email Jo Ann.

Hi! My name is Kim and I am moving to Pittsburgh in December. I love Angel Food and have been involved with it here in central PA. I'd like to remain involved and would like a place to volunteer. I was just wondering if you've gotten started yet. My email is kmbrly63@yahoo.com.
thanks!

Hi Kim,
We are planning to start taking orders later this month for food distribution on December 16. I forwarded your comment to JoAnn who is our Angel Food coordinator. Thanks for your note and your interest in helping with this ministry!
